this is a gpx brand 5" black & white tv and an am/fm radio. it can be used with batteries or an external power adapter (new one included). you can listen to it through headphones (not included). it also has a place for a car adapter (not included). it has a built in antennae and a new plug on the back to connect to the cable.

i have used this attached to my cable and it picks up a real good picture. it doesn't pick up all of the channels available, but quite a few of them. it comes with a manual with complete instructions for tuning, adjusting, and trouble-shooting. 

this was part of a widow's sale. belonged to her late husband. he loved gadgets. i was able to find the new power adapter at the gpx website. if you want a car adapter, you can probably find one there. they  were very reasonable and helpful.
