Didn't quite know how to describe the condition. It is made from denim scraps I have collected over the years. . . very colorful! I also don't put backs on these any more, and they make GREAT spreads for your bed. They wash well, only needing to trim off excess strings occasionally. GIves it that REAL denim LOOK! THis one even has a block with paint on it, though I am considering changing the color of the paint splotch. My favorite square is the one with gold stars embroidered on it (came from a ladies dress). The blodcks are around nine inch square and the quilt is eight wide and ten long. Big enough for a full, maybe. Anyway, it looks and feels, and washes GREAT! VERY "Green" . THis is all sewn by hand. I have been handsewing for years, and know how to reinforce seams so they won't come apart! I am using one I made four years ago, which is getting to look a bit ratty, but I LOVE it!!!
