Albert Deman, born July 15, 1927 at Bousbecque and died in December 1996 in Angles, is aFrench painter and sculptor. He was buried in the cemetery of the town of Angles.
Biography
In 1945, a student in sculpture at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Lille, and that of Nantes in 1946. He settled in Vendee until 1971, and began exhibiting in 1946, the new Salon de la Roche sur Yonand the gallery René Robin as he inaugurated the first exponent. After 1971, he settled in La Rochelle. It appears in the Paris Salon of Painters witnesses of their time from 1957 to 1960.
He divides his work into periods:
from 1956 to 1957 period known in Chicago, from 1971 to 1972, a period of pear, 1978, period"mobile" from 1979 to 1983, a period of pastels, 1984, period engravings, 1984-1985, a periodin the Maghreb. Thus, the production of Albert Deman can be divided stylistically. In a periodencompassing the 1950's, he was influenced by the mannerism of Carzou clawed and even in the choice of scenes: Bruges-la Rochelle. In the years 1960-70, the writing is more temperate.Finally, in the 1980s, especially in the period of the Maghreb, his natural ability is unleashed incolorful watercolors in which subjects are based on the edge of abstraction lyrique1
